Was a random idea that came to life.

Basically this is what it is:

Portable Computer Data Storage.
What i've created is 2 striped sets:
----------------------------------------------------------------
A. 224 GIGABYTE Raid 0 Stripe
(Read / Write -AVG- 17 Megabytes a second)
Made with 2 x 120 GIGABYTE 7200 rpm PATA Drives
----------------------------------------------------------------
B. 371 GIGABYTE Raid 0 Stripe
(Read / Write -AVG- 21 Megabytes a second)
Made with 2x 200 GIGABYTE 7200 rpm PATA Drives
----------------------------------------------------------------

The Drives are evenly spaced and mounted to the sides
of this aircraft all aluminum lockable box with a handle.

Just two power supplies are powering all 4 Drives.
The power supplies 110 VAC connections are spliced into one cord.
I also installed heat sinks on the power supplies.

All Of the drives are Connected to a
bus powered Laptop Belkin USB 2.0 HUB

Essentially there is only 2 cables that protrude from this box:
1. 110 VAC Grounded Power Cable
2. Shielded USB 2.0 Cable

<->
The idea with this setup is to create a Mass Storage Device that is
Silent, Portable,Super-Fast, Passively cooled that also has some
physical security (lockable)

Internal temperatures of this never breaches 120 Degrees F.

The only other addition to this could be complete weather/water proofing.

Enjoy the pictures:

-------> the last 222.9GB stripe, the drives are not the same brand.
One is a MAXTOR and the other is a SEAGATE<-------
